the maltsters has a great location near the beautiful llandaff cathedral. the staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay special. i enjoyed a very comfortable double or twin room, which was clean and quiet. the hot breakfast options, freshly cooked to order, were surprisingly good value. overall, it was a delightful experience.

I had a wonderful stay here, with the staff going above and beyond to make my time enjoyable. The full Welsh breakfast was a highlight, with excellent quality and generous portions. My room was comfortable and very clean, making it a perfect place to unwind. The only downside was that the shower pressure could have been better.

the room was spacious with air conditioning which was perfect for the hot weather. it had a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. the breakfast was freshly made and tasty. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with good options on the menu. the staff were super helpful during our stay.

The outdoor seating is nice, but the pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

During my stay, the staff gave a warm welcome and the food was delicious, especially the tiramisu which I still crave! I loved how close the hotel was. just a short stroll to both Bute Park and Llandaff Cathedral made my city walks so enjoyable, although the headboard in my room could use some updating.
